Are these official GED questions?

No. GEDMastery questions are not official GED Testing Service items. They are independent practice questions written to target GED skill areas and formats—Mathematical Reasoning, RLA, Science, and Social Studies—so you can build accuracy, timing, and explanation-based learning before test day. Official exams, registration, scheduling, and scores are handled through authorized testing channels, not through practice websites.

That distinction protects you from two opposite mistakes. The first is assuming unofficial practice is “fake” and useless; well-designed practice still trains the same reading, math, and data skills the GED measures. The second is assuming a practice score guarantees an official score. Practice predicts readiness only when you use realistic timing, review misses, and cover the subject’s topics across weeks—not after one lucky quiz.

Treat GEDMastery as a skill gym: topic exams, rationales, common-mistake guidance, and tips help you learn from every attempt. Use official resources for the rules that affect eligibility, ID, pricing, and score reporting. Keeping those roles separate avoids confusion and keeps expectations honest for working adults who cannot afford surprise retakes.

Independent prep ecosystems are normal in adult education. Many learners combine GEDMastery with other non-official banks such as independent GED test prep review materials while still scheduling through official systems.

If a site claims to sell “real past GED questions,” be cautious: unauthorized disclosure of secure exam content is not legitimate prep. Choose transparent practice platforms that teach skills openly. GEDMastery’s position is clear—we are independent practice software. Use us to get ready; use official services to test and certify.
